I just got home from Bataraza in southern Palawan with good friends, and I’m still out here enjoying the funny memories of the trip looking at some of the photos I’ve taken with my camera.
Bataraza is a mining town at the southernmost tip of my province, named after a quite popular Datu (sovereign prince) many years ago. Of all its barangays, it is Rio Tuba that’s always in the center stage because of the Rio Tuba Nickel Mining Corporation and Coral Bay Nickel Corporation. At 225 kilometers away from Puerto Princesa, it takes about 4 hours to get there by land.
Well, I’ll save stories about the trip for later 🙂 Right now, I merely wanted to share some photos of my group’s recent visit to Marina de Bay, a resort that sits on a sprawling area by the bay in Puerto Princesa.
